Motorbike gloves through the years
So this is when my real reviews of gear and useful motorcycle news starts… not just me sharing cool content like usual.
Here I’m going to give you the lowdown on my previous gloves and why I loved and loathed them.
If you are looking for a new pair of riding gloves then you can find a great selection here
Motorcycle Gloves
Lets kick it all off with my first ever pair of road gloves, some cheap but not that nasty pair of 15 pound leather ‘waterproof’ gloves from a local motorcycle dealer shop. First tip- don’t buy your gear from a dealer shop unless they are doing you a deal with a new bike since it’s usually ridiculously more expensive than a normal motorcycle clothing and accessories shop like LD Motorcycles where I usually shop. Now these gloves were certainly not the best gloves I ever wore but ‘pound for pound’ (quite literally) they were the most comfortable gloves I ever wore. But this was probably due to them wearing in so quickly because of the cheaper materials used.

Buffalo Blade
I am not quite sure how I even acquired this pair or when in my riding career I actually wore these motorbike gloves however I do know one thing, they were certainly cheap and nasty, nasty by appearance and not by quality though I must say. A great pair of summer riding gloves that I am sure would offer great protection in a crash but come on, take a solid look at them… nobody wants to be riding about in armoured oven mitts. I mean they had it all in terms of what you would want from a pair of gloves at this price and more, but the styling was not to my taste to say the least.
Gerbing T-12 Hybrid Gloves
Now this pair of motorcycle gloves was my most expensive purchase in terms of motorcycle gear, yes I prefer to find bargains usually. These gloves were chosen because after one of the worst winters of riding I decided that the next winter I would spend the money on some good gloves that would actually protect me from the conditions. Although heated gloves usually
Now these are a selection of my bike gloves throughout the years and are certainly not the best I have worn ever, but I wanted to give a good idea of the range of gloves available out there in different price ranges
